Morning worship begins at 10:30am and ordinarily lasts about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Service opens with a call to worship, announcements, prayer, and passing the peace. Service closes with a sending song and benediction. Afterward, there is time for fellowship, testimony, and prayer over freshly brewed coffee. On a typical Sunday you can expect:
- Pastoral & Congregational Prayer — The Lord’s Prayer and Spirit-led intercessions for the Church and the world (1 Timothy 2:1–6)
- Public Reading of Sacred Scripture — the Word of God read plainly in the hearing of the people (1 Timothy 4:13)
- Psalms, Hymns, & Spiritual Songs — up to 6 songs of praise to the Lord (Ephesians 5:18-21)
- Profession of Faith or Responsive Reading — of the Scriptures and the ancient creeds (2 Timothy 2:11-13)
- Declaration of the Law — what God requires of us (Mark 12:29-31; Matthew 22:34-40)
- Proclamation of the Gospel — what Christ has done for us (Matthew 4:23; Romans 1:1, 15–17)
- Expository Sermon — about 30–45 minutes to preach the Word, reprove, rebuke, and exhort (2 Timothy 4:2–4)
- Public & Pastoral Confession — a time of reflection and repentance before God (1 Timothy 6:11–16; James 5:13-16)
- Ordinances (Sacraments) –– on the first Sunday of the month we share in Communion together, and observe Baptism when applicable. Pastoral confession, prayer, and anointing of the sick are offered each Sunday as well as in the ordinary life of the congregation, when needed. See our Statement of Faith.
Children's Programs
During service, children ages 1 to 10 are called to the altar, blessed, and dismissed.
- Nursery (ages 0-3) is on the 2nd floor. A parent must bring their own child upstairs and supervise their own child in the nursery. A television is available with the service on-screen.
- Preschool (ages 3-6) is on the 2nd floor. A parent must bring their own child upstairs to sign them into Preschool and then sign them out.
- Children ages 7+ go to the front foyer, receive a clipboard with activity sheets and pencil crayons, and then return to the sanctuary.
- Parents are also more than welcome to keep all their children in service, too.
There is no dress code. Come as you would to honour the Lord.
